Hey guys,
Im a bit new at this, so hope someone can help.
I made a site through dreamweaver, and connected to icr38 through FTP. it worked perfectly until i reformatted my computer and had to reinstall dreamweaver. All the information was gone but i did save all the files. When i try to connect to my site again it wont let me, saying the usual stuff (check firewalls, maybe the domains down, etc etc etc). I dont know what to do since i cant connect to the site at all, and i cant make any changes..
Im sure i entered the info right on the ftp section:
hostname: ftp.icr38.net
folder: i tried leaving it blank and htdocs
login and password are the same as my icr38 account.
It should have no problem right... Embarrassed

Edit your FTP connection details to the following format:

Access: FTP
FTP Host: ftp.icr38.net
Host directory: /htdocs/ (or /yourdomain.tld/htdocs/ if you are using your own domain name)

Login and password are the same as for your hosting account, of course but you knew that. Do not check any of the four boxes below 'password' and it should work.

Do you have any issue connecting via a separate FTP client or the File Manager in your control panel?

After I poked our server tech, we found the problem, after so many times of trying to connect and failing to gain access, your IP was temporarily blocked as an attack attempt which expired some time after you had quit trying to get it to work.

Since you now have access I guess I'll quit poking him now... he's starting to bleed you know :p
