So, you've got your new shiny
Free CO.cc domain and you want to add it to your free hosting account?
Step One: Setup your CO.cc Domain
Choose the
Manage DNS option in your CO.cc control panel and add the nameservers for your host, for example:
Note: You can find your nameservers by looking at the Addon Domain page where they are listed at the bottom of the pageOnce you have found and entered your nameservers, click on
Setup which will update your DNS record for your CO.cc domain please note, it will take 24~48 hours for the change to take full effect.
Step Two: Adding it to your account- Login to your website control panel
- Click on Addon Domains
- In the Enter Domain box, type your domain: yourdomain.co.cc
- Click on Create Domain
After clicking Create Domain and if the DNS record shows as pointing to our servers, a new directory will be created in your account called
yourdomain.co.cc and inside of that will be a new HTDOCS folder which is where you should upload files intended for this domain.
Note: It may take up to an hour before any content you upload will display on the domain when you first add it, this is to be expected as the change is applied throughout the cluster
