If you run a popular site or make many updates to your MySQL database(s), you may see this error:

User 'you_123456' has exceeded the 'max_updates' resource (current value: 60000)

This error means that you have gone over the hourly update limit of 60,000 updates per hour in place on the free hosting services.

Don't panic, this error is only temporary and will go away in an hour when the quota counter for your MySQL account are reset. Until the counter is reset however, you will be unable to update your database(s) with new or modified content.

If you find that your site is so popular or frequently updated and keep running into this limit, we invite you to consider upgrading to a Premium Hosting account.
