Ok, I installed wordpress with vista panal. And I am not sure how to activate Akismet. This is what it says "Akismet is almost ready. You must enter your WordPress.com API key for it to work." But when I click on that it says "There was a problem connecting to the Akismet server. Please check your server configuration." Plz ask if you need more information. Thank you if you can help.

Due to past abuse issues, outgoing and remote socket connections are disabled on the free hosting network but I can recommend using WP-SpamFree in place of Akismet which focuses its effort on your site without relying on outside sources.
